Finally, it’s time for us to make our annual migration north to France and other destinations.

This time though we are first flying to Istanbul before continuing on to Trabzon near the Black Sea to begin a tour of Eastern Turkey, Georgia and Armenia.  We will return briefly to Istanbul before flying to Toulouse and driving to Roquebrun.

Our plans at the moment include a week in Berlin in November.  Joining us there from England will be Cheryl’s brother George and wife Louise.  Their son, Jeremy, is living and working in Berlin for a year so it will be a sort of family get together.

Mid December will find us driving to Italy, spending 2 weeks in Tuscany, then a week near Viterbo in Lazio.  We’ll then meet some friends from Melbourne, Jing and Ron, in Bologna for a few nights before returning with them to Roquebrun via Turin and Lyon.

Apart from that we have no other definite trips.  Depending on Brexit, we may have to go to England for a week or so at the end of January so that we can return on our Australian passports for another “stay” in France.
